Tattoo Scritte
Getting a tattoo with a name is something that many people consider. And there is no plain and simple yes or no answer. Let's look at some of the things you should think about before deciding to get any tattoos with names.
Probably a bad idea is to get the name of a girlfriend or boyfriend, or even of a spouse tattooed anywhere on your body. Even though we may think that getting our loved one's name tattooed somewhere on our body is a way of demonstrating love, there are other ways to do this.
We all like to think that our relationship is forever, but sometimes this does not happen. Breaking up may occur for many reasons. How about if one person goes away to school in another city, or needs to move to find a job? Long distance relationships are hard to maintain. And divorce is unfortunately, very common in today's world. In the worst case a spouse may pass away. We can't predict when accidents or disease may happen.
All in all, there's not much worse than starting a new relationship with the wrong name tattooed on your body. Removing the offending name or camouflaging it is possible, but requires either laser removal which will cause scarring, or more tattooing as a cover-up.
With that said, sometimes it may be a good idea to have a name tattooed on your body. Mom or Dad are pretty safe bets. Some parents also have the names of their children tattooed along with a symbol to represent something special about the child. These are certainly instances where having tattoos with names demonstrates your love, and serves as a reminder of these special people as you go about your daily life.
Another time when a name may be suitable, is to commemorate a loved one who has passed away. Once again having this person's name tattooed, would be a reminder for you. It can also serve as a tribute to the person's memory and show how much you care.
